Once you decide that something is worth doing, the next step is to find the best way to do it. Those with no preparation will just use the first method they can think of. Those who prepare, however, will take time to find the best method. They can do that, for instance, by researching how the best people in their field work.
3. Preparation gets you ready for new opportunities.
Even when you are not working on something, you should keep building your skills and knowledge. This is how you prepare yourself for future opportunities. Then—when an opportunity comes—you will be ready for it. As Seneca once said: Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.
